Abriendo Puertas

After finishing high school and their scholarship in Centro ¡Supérate! Merlet, many students want to continue with their higher education studies, however, not all of them can because they lack financial resources. To address this need, “Abriendo Puertas”, a College Scholarship Program, was created. This program allows both individuals and companies to sponsor our youth through a monthly or annual donation.

This program allows both individuals and companies to sponsor our youth through a monthly or annual donation.

"Abriendo Puertas" seeks to train young students into future leaders and agents of change committed to the development and progress of El Salvador. For this reason, students are awarded with a college scholarship to continue studying.

To acquire the scholarship, students must undergo an application process and meet the established requirements. Upon receiving the scholarship, students sign a commitment letter and guidelines to be complied with throughout their careers.

To ensure the program’s success, Fundación Frech maintains continuous contact with the students through counseling. They are not only provided with financial resources for their studies, but with support for their personal and social areas as well.

The program focuses on providing scholarships for careers with high demand on the market, so that upon graduation, scholarship recipients have better opportunities of integrating into the workplace.

Abriendo Puertas has 24 students with the scholarship and 3 already graduated.
